Peggy Seeger

Trained in both classical and folk music, Peggy Seeger’s 55-year career spans performing, travel and songwriting. A multi-instrumentalist (piano, guitar, banjo, autoharp, concertina, dulcimer), she’s best known for feminist songs like ‘Gonna Be an Engineer’ and ‘The Ballad of Springhill’, now considered traditional. She has made 23 solo recordings and appeared on over 100 others.
