Stardust Steel Orchestra

Founded in 1983 by the late Randolph Baptiste, co-founder of Ebony Steelband, Stardust Steel Orchestra was built on a mission to empower youth through music. Baptiste used the steel pan to foster confidence and provide a safe, constructive environment for young players. Known for its versatile repertoire, the band quickly earned the respect of the public and the steel band community alike. Since Baptiste’s passing in 2003, his children have upheld his legacy. Today, they continue to mentor both children and adults, preserving the rich traditions of steel pan and carnival arts they were raised in.
