Suzi Quatro
Quatro has always had the knack for rock and roll. Born in Michigan, Quatro’s big career break came when super-producer Mickie Most saw her perform live. She flew to England in 1971 and was catapulted to the top with monster hits like ‘Can the Can’, made with songwriters Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman, and ‘Stumblin’ In’, a duet with Chris Norman.
Quatro stayed in the UK charts for 101 weeks between 1973 and 1980. Since then she’s released multiple albums, with a new one in the works. Quatro’s energy and power in live performance remains undimmed – in 2024, she played in front of 85,000 people at Wacken Open Air, the biggest metal festival in the world.
