Third Culture Collective

Third Culture Collective is a UK-based arts organisation creating new possibilities for collaboration between South Asian and Western music. Founded and directed by British Indian musician Kavi Pau, the organisation brings together artists and communities and institutions to create new music, educational programmes and cultural experiences that reflect the realities of South Asians in modern Britain.

At the heart of its work is the UK’s first professional South Asian-majority orchestra and choir. The choir brings together professional singers who are equally at home in the Western choral tradition and the languages of South Asia, enabling them to perform new choral works that preserve the spirit of both cultures, and in doing so create a third.
