Victoria Chang
Victoria Chang’s latest collection of poetry is Tree of Knowledge (Corsair, 2026). She is also the author of With My Back to the World (Corsair, 2024), which received the Forward Prize for Best Collection. A few of her other books include The Trees Witness Everything and Dear Memory.
Her book, OBIT, was named a TIME Magazine, NPR, Publisher’s Weekly and New York Times Book of the Year. It received the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, the PEN Voelcker Award and the Anisfield-Wolf Book Prize. It was a finalist for the Griffin International Poetry Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award, and was longlisted for a National Book Award.
Her poems have been translated into many languages including Italian, Chinese, Spanish, Romanian, Korean, Greek, German, Latvian, Hebrew and Dutch. Chang has received a Guggenheim Fellowship, a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship and is the Bourne Chair of Poetry at Georgia Tech and the Director of Poetry@Tech.
