Will Burns

Will Burns is a poet, novelist and poet-in-residence at Caught by the River. A former Faber New Poet, his collection Country Music (Offord Road Books, 2020) won a 2021 Laurel Prize. He’s also released Germ Songs (Rough Trade Books, 2019), a collaborative album with composer Hannah Peel and a novel, The Paper Lantern (Weidenfeld & Nicholson, 2021), which saw him named a top debut novelist of 2021 by The Observer.
