Skylark Sessions

A six-week long series which dived into different art forms with the support of renowned artists

Skylark Sessions were a series of free workshops open to anyone aged 50 and over, living locally to the Southbank Centre, who was looking to connect and support their wellbeing through creativity and community.

Each series of Skylark Sessions focused on a particular art form. For example, the first series was titled New Threads and saw participants work with renowned textile artists to explore ways to work with embroidery and crafts of making and weaving. The activities within each series were adjusted to accommodate all participants’ experience and access needs and all the materials you’ll need, and refreshments, are provided.

Skylark Sessions were generously supported by City Bridge Foundation.
