Guest trader application form

Thank you for your interest in joining our food market on Southbank Centre Square!

The market runs every weekend of the year (apart from a break over Christmas and into January most years).

We have over 30 traders and a real mix of food offerings. We offer a couple of guest spots every weekend to new or interested traders to try the market out which can occasionally turn into long term licences where it’s a good fit/ the spaces come up.

In winter, our trading hours are as follows:

  • Friday, 12 noon – 8pm
  • Saturday, 11am – 8pm 
  • Sunday, 12 noon – 6pm

 In summer, our trading hours are as follows:

  • Friday, 12 noon – 9pm
  • Saturday, 11am – 9pm
  • Sunday, 12 noon – 6pm

(and on bank holidays where applicable). You must be able to trade all days/hours.

About your stall

This is the really important part and is key to our selection process, so please ensure you put in the effort by giving us as much information, quotes, photos or any other supporting documents as possible. We would love to see examples of previous set-ups at markets you have worked with as your look and feel is important to us. The Southbank Centre creates memorable experiences for all its visitors. We want our guests to experience excellent customer service, be wowed by the presentation of your stalls, and see inspiring products. How can you help us deliver this? Please include:
  • Ethos: What makes your business unique, where do your products come from, what do you sell and why will it stand out?
  • Concept: What's the experience you want to create?
  • Experience: Where do you currently trade/Where have you previously traded?
  • Sustainability policy: Please underline your business practices, operations and ethos with regards to sustainability.
