At the end of 2019, Hessel visited the Hayward Gallery’s Bridget Riley exhibition, the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of the artist’s work to date. In this film, Hessel talks about what it is to view Riley’s works in person, and why she considers Bridget Riley to be one of the greatest artists of all-time.
