News & press

What’s the story?

Contact our press team for media enquiries, releases, press tickets, press images and filming requests.

Press tickets

We offer a limited number of press tickets for most events at the Southbank Centre. Generally, we give priority to journalists reviewing events.

It’s not always up to us who can have a ticket – for some events, the decision is made by promoters who don’t work for the Southbank Centre.

Press tickets must be arranged in advance. Please contact the press office during working hours Monday – Friday (excluding bank holidays) with your press ticket request.

Hayward Gallery press tickets

Press tickets to Hayward Gallery exhibitions must be booked through the press office in advance. Please note we are not able to accommodate press tickets on the door. Unfortunately we cannot provide free tickets to all those who request them.

If you have a confirmed commission and would like to request a ticket please do get in touch with our press team with at least 72 hours notice.
