Adam Kammerling: Seder

A storytelling experience and a ritual for now, asking what survival means in confronting times, and how we pass it on.

Run time 1 hour and 40 minutes, including a 10 minute interval (approx)
This event has passed

Adam Kammerling unpacks the tangled stories we carry – and why we choose to tell them – through a performance of spoken word, dance, physical theatre and live music.

Rooted in the Jewish ritual of the same name, Seder is a powerful, interdisciplinary performance diving deep into memory and identity, confronting inherited grief, unspoken truths and the unexpected harmony between heavy metal and Jewish tradition.

In Kammerling’s own words, the show has been ‘developed with world-leading artists in response to the recent war crimes in Gaza and the ongoing oppression of the Palestinian people. Unable to tour in 2024 due to safety concerns, this show demands a renewed relationship with the loyalties we hold in grief.’
