BASSIS Showcase
Come and join the family, and feel the energy of the dance floor with DJs and sound systems representing bass culture and reggae roots.
Channelling the memories of family house parties of his youth, Jean-Claude Lionbeat curates an evening featuring The League of Rebelz, Rebel Clash, Lionpulse and Lionbeat.
The dance floor hosts a line-up of family members and the cousins, hailing from Ireland, Mauritius, Jamaica, Cuba and Angola, for a special evening of entertainment.
This showcase closes our Hooley in the Kitchen event, which celebrates the ordinary dancing that happens at home, where friends, neighbours and loved ones gather for a knees-up.

Access
We’re working hard to remove barriers, so that our facilities and events can be accessible to as many people as possible.
All help points, toilets, performance and exhibition spaces at the Southbank Centre are accessible to all, as are the cafes, bars and restaurants. We also have excellent public transport links with step-free access.
