Cara Dillon
This event has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances
In the world of folk music, few shine as brightly as Irish singer Cara Dillon, renowned for her transcendent voice and deep connection to her home in County Derry. The celebrated Irish folk singer blends storytelling, poetry and song in a performance celebrating her newly released album and book, Coming Home.
Evolving from a collection of original poems, this performance sees Dillon interweave her new material with a carefully curated selection of her most-loved classics.
Joined by her band and a contemporary dancer, Cara effortlessly blurs the lines between storytelling and song, offering a glimpse into her memories as she shares stories from her rural ancestors and 92-year-old mother.
Deeply moving, nostalgic, thought-provoking, and filled with meaning, Cara reflects on the remarkable people, places, and customs she holds closest to her heart.
