Concrete Lates x Rave: Recharge
Celebrate rave culture on a charged dance floor spanning three decades of electronic music, led by producers and DJs Catz ‘n Dogz, GW Harrison and Blanka Barbara.
This late-night event explores the power of music enhanced by intricate videography and futuristic lighting design, curated live by video jockey (VJ) Deruba.
With foundations in house and techno, and an origin story as best friends playing in a pizza-restaurant-turned-nightclub in their hometown, duo Catz ‘n Dogz mix elements of bright disco and deep house, sexy vocals and bold, spoken phrases. This stylish aesthetic has landed them in line-ups in the best spots worldwide, from Miami to Ibiza to Berlin.
GW Harrison is a frontrunner in today’s tech house scene. Born out of the influence of the UK’s iconic 1990s rave culture, he has amassed substantial credibility with a major residency with the giant that is ABODE.
Blanka Barbara’s genre is best described as deep and textured melodic house – perfect for taking crowds on a carefully steered playful and musically adventurous journey. Her productions have been supported by the leading names in the industry, including Lane 8, Marsh, Patrice Baumel and Hernan Cattaneo.
This event is part of the 22nd Kinoteka Polish Film Festival and is organised with the support of the Polish Cultural Institute in London.
