Creative Encounters: Mingle & Mould

Find a chilled space for making, mingling and some me-time, where you can shape connection through conversation, your hands and some clay.

We invite you to slow down and immerse yourself in the act of creation as clay-maker Princess Fingall gently guides us to create and decorate clay pots using the pinch and coil method. Each pot becomes a personal canvas – a reflection of emotion, moment, and memory.

Working at your own pace you can learn basic clay techniques, or develop your budding ceramics practice, in the company of others. Finish the workshop with a small take-home object in air dry clay. Whether you give it as a gift or keep it is up to you.

Princess Fingall is a London based ceramist and kiln technician on Channel 4’s Great British Pottery Throwdown. Her practice merges form, tradition, and heritage into grounded, expressive works.

The evening is soundtracked by a musician and DJ hailing from Catford. (((CLEOPATRA))) is inspired by the vibrations of music and the eclectic sounds of London. Bringing a multi-genre fusion to her sets and mixes, she is inspired by broken beat, house and soul.

Creative Encounters is your creative space in the heart of the city, bringing together Londoners old and new for live performance, making and conversation.
