futuretense: Ahmed, With Love. + Third Kulture
Come and catch music with an unapologetically original spin in a free double gig from a band and a rapper who break the mould.
Dublin-born, Sierra Leonean rapper Ahmed, With Love. has been quietly carving out a niche while also announcing himself as one of the UK and Ireland’s most captivating and distinctive artists.
Sitting somewhere between the coming-of-age humour of Napoleon Dynamite, the theatrics of semi-professional wrestling, the mosh aesthetics of Paris Texas and the wordplay of MF Doom, the intoxicating MC blends off-kilter flows and an explosive stage presence with a breezy nonchalance that is reflective of his own personality.
Third Kulture are a hybrid rock-rap band formed in Manchester. The dynamic trio are loud and unapologetically themselves, embodying the essence of diversity, innovation, and cultural fusion.
Third Kulture’s unique sound draws from all corners of their diverse cultural influence, blending mesmerising R&B vocals, electrifying guitar riffs, and the cutting-edge influences of grime and modern rap with flavours of UK rave music, dancehall and trip-hop.
