futuretense: Anman + Rosa Cecilia
Musicians Anman and Rosa Cecilia take us on a journey through music, theatre and art in this edition of our free, twice-monthly showcase of emerging talent.
Anman is a Tbilisi-born, London-raised musician, multimedia artist and performer. She infuses her native Georgian polyphonic song with alt hip-hop and avant-pop elements, putting on maximalist theatrical live shows with her projected video art/animation and up-cycled DIY costumes.
Rosa Cecilia is a London-born independent artist of Chilean-Italian heritage. Raised in a trilingual household, she blends Latin, soul, dance and pop influences in her music. Her live shows often feature energetic choreography and a full Latin band, and she has supported artists like Marina Sena and Judith Hill at Lafayette and the Jazz Cafe.
