futuretense: [ K S R ] + Osquello
Two maverick musicians whose music refuses to be pinned to one genre take to the stage for an eclectic edition of our twice-monthly free music events.
Hailing from Moss Side, Manchester, [ K S R ] is a young talent who’s been steadily building a reputation for himself over the past few years as one of the UK’s most exciting soul vocalists.
His releases encompass a wide range of musical styles, including alternative R&B, future soul, hip-hop and D&B.
His own soulful style has seen him collaborate with a number of UK peers, as well as touring with the likes of Mica Miller, Pip Millett, Etta Bond and The Mouse Outfit, and playing festivals across Europe, including We Out Here.
Osquello is a true originator, constantly experimenting with different musical genres for the sake of growth.
Describing his music as a ‘movie soundtrack to your life’, he refuses to stay in one lane, instead exploring the range of all that life throws at you, through different sounds and styles.
His music travels across nostalgic disco, funk, alternative and R&B soundscapes, with albums including Osqstock, Osquello’s first independently self-produced, written and mixed album and Romero, garnering a loyal following.
