With music rooted in soul and R&B, these artists have stories to tell and sounds that demand to be discovered in this edition of our free concert series.
Kaia Laurielle is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of storytelling through music and visuals.
As a champion for Black love, her lyrics tell the stories of those forgotten or overshadowed, and her music, which falls into eclectic soul and alternative R&B, focuses on the importance of redefining love – such as self-love and what it means in the Black community.
State is Flow, led by creative duo Toby Corton and Maverick Quest, is an artist collective working in neo-soul, jazz, R&B and hip-hop.
This year, they’re set to make some noise with new releases and appearances at the likes of Brick Lane Jazz Festival.
