Incognito: 45th Anniversary Celebration
Celebrating their 45th anniversary, the acid-jazz, funk and soul collective bring their infectious grooves to life, with music from their latest album, Into You.
The legendary journey of Incognito spans 45 years of exploration and musical mastery, blending jazz, funk, and soul.
Founded by Jean-Paul ‘Bluey’ Maunick and Paul Williams in 1979 as the UK’s first musical jazz, funk and soul collective, Incognito presented an ever-changing line-up focusing on championing exciting young talent, giving them the platform to work with legendary musicians.
From rocketing to fame with hits like ‘Parisienne Girl’ and ‘Always There’, to their latest album Into You, Incognito has pushed boundaries across decades, working with a roster of iconic collaborators including Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, and George Benson.
A central component of the band’s massive and passionately loyal fan base has always been their powerful and energetic live shows, including performances at Montreux Jazz Festival.
Join us for an unforgettable night as Incognito takes the stage, bringing their infectious grooves and positive vibes to life, joined by special guest Maysa.
Maysa is an exceptional singer with a honey-toned mezzo-soprano voice and magnetic stage presence. Known for her honesty, humour, and integrity as an artist, she has earned accolades and recognition, including Soul Train’s Centric Award and a Grammy nomination, and has collaborated with artists including Stevie Wonder.
