Kinetika Bloco x Tomorrow’s Warriors
Two of London’s finest youth arts initiatives join forces to present an evening of live music under the stars as part of our summer of Riverside Sessions.
Kinetika Bloco and Tomorrow’s Warriors are long-time friends and collaborators – and both are Southbank Centre Resident Organisations.
Their young members have curated this evening. Expect a wonderful mashup of jazz and carnival sounds with joint performances, a jam session and so much future star power you’ll be able to see it from space.
For 26 years, Kinetika Bloco has been on a mission to engage young people from south London in long-term creative activity via music and dance, advancing their education, skills, and capacity for learning and leadership.
Founded in 1991, Tomorrow’s Warriors is a pioneering music nonprofit, specialising in jazz and ensuring that young people locked out of opportunity have access to the resources, social networks and platforms they need to flourish in music and to live into their full creative vision, goals and dreams.
The Southbank Centre’s Riverside Sessions are part of our 75th birthday celebrations and have been curated entirely by young people. Come along, whatever your age, to celebrate youth as a mindset – not a number.
