Let's Build an Organ
Let off some steam and get hands-and-feet-on to find out how a pipe organ is constructed with Duncan Chapman’s family-friendly Let’s Build an Organ workshop.

As part of the 70th birthday celebrations for our own Royal Festival Hall organ, come and explore what makes an organ work.
This hands-on session is a fantastic, free and up-close experience for music lovers, with practical activities for all to get involved in.
The workshops offer an opportunity to see what’s inside an organ, including looking at the materials it’s constructed from, how the sound is made and how the wind is blown into the pipes.
Ideal for the curious-minded from ages 7 up, you’ll never look at an instrument the same way again. Maybe you’ll even try to build your own!
