Maestros in Fusion

Experience a fusion of classical and jazz music with an Indian spin, featuring music from Ustad Zakir Hussain, Shankar Mahadevan, Rakesh Chaurasia and more.

In this performance of diverse musical styles and inspirations, Grammy winners Ustad Zakir Hussain, Shankar Mahadevan, Rakesh Chaurasia take to the stage, alongside music maestros Louiz Banks, Sheldon D’Silva and Gino Banks.

Ustad Zakir Hussain is an Indian tabla player, composer, percussionist, music producer.

Shankar Mahadevan is a Grammy-winning Indian singer and composer who is part of the Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy trio that writes music for Indian films.

Louiz Banks is an Indian film composer, record producer, keyboardist, and singer. He has been referred to as the ‘godfather of Indian jazz’.

Rakesh Chaurasia is an Indian flautist, who plays the bansuri, an Indian bamboo flute. He is the nephew of flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia.

Gino Banks is an Indian drummer and member of the fusion band ‘Nexus’.
