Marco Mezquida: Tornado

The pianist’s album takes inspiration from his friendships, forming a music of contrasts between introspection and intimate intensity.

This event has passed

Pianist Marco Mezquida conceived Tornado with, and for, two old and dear friends, Masa Kamaguchi (bass) and Ramon Prats (drums) with whom he shares a long history of music, connection and experiences on the road.

The result is music created from three very expressive and strong musical personalities that provide Mezquida with many registers and differences in space in which he can express himself in visceral moments. Tornado is a beautiful story that is all at once thrilling and deeply moving, and never fails to captivate audiences.
