Master Peace

Master Peace brings his weird, wonderful and cacophonous musical world to the stage as an explosive part of this year’s Meltdown.

Peace Okezie, the brainchild behind Master Peace, does not mince his words. Luckily for us, his energy is upbeat and honest, on par with the effervescent, varied and cross-genre music he makes, attracting listeners who crave rebellion and divergence from the norm.

Master Peace’s debut album How To Make A Master Peace, pushes the parameters of genre more than ever. The 11-track album is a pastiche of the alternative music the British artist was raised on, including Arctic Monkeys, Friendly Fires and Gorillaz.

Cutting through the generations of British music, the raucous artist has won an Ivor Novello Rising Star Award, been hailed as the new voice of British Indie and was a ‘One To Watch’ nominee at the 2023 AIM Awards.
