Mica Paris
Join us for a powerhouse evening with Mica Paris, the vocalist whose career has taken her from a church choir to topping the charts.
Paris grew up singing in her grandparents’ church, and by her mid-teens was making regular appearances with The Spirit Of Watts gospel choir, with whom she featured on the 1985 EP Gospel Joy.
Since her first Top 10 hit in 1988 with ‘My One Temptation’, Paris has gone on to release eight more albums, including Gospel, which came out to critical acclaim and shot to No. 1 in the UK R&B Album Charts.
Her music seamlessly weaves together new material, timeless gospel classics, and spellbinding contemporary versions of songs such as ‘Mamma Said’ and ‘(Something Inside) So Strong’.
With her recent accolades including an MBE and a new record deal, Mica continues to captivate audiences with her extraordinary soulful talent and unwavering passion for music.
