The installation is made up of physical sculptures that produce and interact with sound in some automated way.
Walk through the space to experience Knighton’s slowly evolving soundscapes.
The installation draws on his developing body of work exploring the seamless interaction of acoustic and electronically generated sound.
Knighton was nominated for an Ivors Classical Award in 2023 for his orchestral piece Sound Sculpture No.7, commissioned by nonclassical for the Southbank Sinfonia.
