Notes on Nature 2: The Forest

The Philharmonia Orchestra brings together environmental experts and speakers from the arts world for a broad conversation on our relationship with forests.

This is the second of four talks, part of the Philharmonia’s series Nordic Soundscapes.

Can the beauty of our forests be protected without inhibiting the flourishing of human communities, particularly those who rely on them for their food or livelihood?

Dancer and choreographer Vidya Patel, journalist Julian Glover, lecturer in Nordic landscape and culture Annika Lindskog and Icelandic musician Sigrun Saevarsdóttir-Griffiths, lead a thought-provoking debate, with plenty of opportunities to join in over coffee and cinnamon buns.
