Poetry London Spring Readings

Join us to celebrate the launch of the spring issue of Poetry London, one of the UK’s most prominent poetry magazines.

Hear extended readings from contributors to the spring issue, including Tom Bailey, Vona Groarke, Daljit Nagra and Vidyan Ravinthiran, along with reflections from its editors.

Tom Bailey is a poet based in Edinburgh. His poems have been published in magazines including The Poetry Review, berlin lit, bath magg, Propel, Anthropocene, Under the Radar, The North and Poetry News. He also edits the online poetry magazine and archive And Other Poems.

Vona Groarke’s tenth poetry collection, Infinity Pool, is published in 2025. Her latest books are Woman of Winter (Gallery Books, 2023) and Hereafter: The Telling Life of Ellen O’Hara (NYUP, 2022). A Cullman Fellow at NYPL from 2018 to 2019, she is the current Writer in Residence at St John’s College, Cambridge.

Daljit Nagra’s most recent collection is indiom. He is chair of the Royal Society of Literature, advisor to Poetry By Heart and he presents the weekly Poetry Extra on Radio 4 Extra.

Vidyan Ravinthiran was born in Leeds to Sri Lankan Tamils, and now teaches at Harvard. Avidya (Bloodaxe, 2025) is his third collection. Asian/Other, his fusion of memoir and poetry criticism, is out now from Icon.
