Primary Schools Morning: Tavares Strachan

Take a trip to our current Hayward Gallery exhibition, Tavares Strachan: There Is Light Somewhere in a free session for primary school groups.

Groups are able to discover the exhibition at their own pace, while using our primary schools resource, the Hello Hayward Guide, to help you explore the artwork.

This Hayward Gallery exhibition features work by the New York-based, Bahamian artist Tavares Strachan celebrated unsung explorers and cultural trailblazers, whose artwork uncovers histories hidden by bias.

Featuring neon works, bronze and ceramic sculptures, and mixed-media installations, this is a fascinating introduction to the storytelling power of art for young audiences.
