Queer Bruk & Friends
The club night brings its signature blend of culture, music, and creativity to the dance floor, with a queer after-party that’s sure to go down in history.
Queer Bruk is an inclusive platform and club night that aims to bridge the gap between Afro-Caribbean music and queer nightlife, creating safe spaces for Black and Brown people to enjoy music.
This event sees amorphous, Girls Can’t DJ, Jungle Kitty and To The Left take to the decks.
amorphous is a Philadelphia-raised producer, artist and DJ who is best known for mashups bringing together pop and soul music with hip-hop and R&B beats. amorphous’ musical talent has led him to work with industry legends like Mariah Carey and Beyonce, including working on the musical arrangement team for Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour.
Jungle Kitty first launched back in September 2018 and since then its mission with Mark-Ashley Dupé at the helm, has been to create a safe space for the QTIPOC community to be free of judgement, fear or explanation of why we choose to identify or express our authentic selves the way we do, whilst celebrating all corners of black and queer culture and music from across the diaspora.
To The Left is an ethereal wonderland scored by alternative R&B, hip-hop, future beats, funk and more, that leans a little to the left.
As well as celebrating iconic sounds that aren’t heard often enough, To The Left is also about showcasing your personal style, fashion and overall visual expression giving everyone the opportunity to be their most opulent, radical, stylish, carefree and extreme versions of themselves.
