Ruby Addy

The musician shares joyful, thought-provoking music about identity, disability and lived experience

Ruby Addy (she/they) is a musician and artist living in East Yorkshire. Addy has been writing music all their life, alongside writing poetry and creating visual art, including collage and fibrecrafts.

In their work, they explore themes of disability, mental illness, queer identity, trauma and being a fat person. They love creating joyful things and also love creating things that make people think.

Addy has performed many gigs such as at Latitude Festival, and most recently was awarded a commission by the Collaborative Touring Network in conjunction with ARCADE, Bridlington Spa, Unlimited Arts and Touretteshero.

The Clore Ballroom is open six days a week.

Tuesday, 10am – 6pm*
Wednesday – Sunday, 10am – 11pm
Monday, closed.

*If we’re hosting a performance, the building will stay open until the event ends.
