Saturday Sessions with Body Odyssey

Through workshops and live performance, step inside a human wonderland as we play, make and experience a journey through the body.

Part of Open Doors

Saturday Sessions are the perfect place to start the weekend. Each month you can watch a performance, make something with the artists and play with other children and their families – all for free!

This month, inspired by writer Camille Dawson’s real-life experiences with hidden illness, Body Odyssey tells the story of Marnie, whose body is about to face the greatest challenge of her life.

In this immersive workshop and live performance, you’re on a mission to protect Marnie’s health and must work together to battle infections and keep her body functioning. Get crafty and make your own white blood cell costume, experience an extract of the Body Odyssey musical show, surrounded by a spectacular immersive inflatable installation, and boogie along to a playful and sensory inside-body disco.

Body Odyssey is a new work in development from Camille Dawson and team. Come and experience the work in its early stages and be part of shaping the show.

Camille Dawson is a critically acclaimed comedy writer, performer and director specialising in multi-art immersive performance. Body Odyssey is accompanied by original music by Franklin Dawson and Lottie Pendlebury (Goat Girl) and Cristina Ottonello’s immersive inflatable installation.
