The sensual choreography of Lived Fiction, from internationally revered dance company Stopgap, invites you to experience dance from multiple perspectives.
Lived Fiction is the manifestation of Stopgap Dance Company’s 20-year history, a timely intervention that can shape the future of contemporary dance.
The choreography is rendered anew with audio description, exquisite projection art and captioning.and share in a future that is rich with the enterprise, potential, and power of diversity.
Expect masterful performances from Deaf, Disabled, neurodivergent and non-disabled creatives in this dance work that is deep with compassion for the human condition.

This event is a Relaxed Performance. These performances have a relaxed approach to noise and movement in the space, and you are free to enter and exit during the performances. A chill-out space and noise-cancelling headphones are available.

There is a Touch Tour available to ticket holders before this event. This is intended for blind and partially sighted audience members to familiarise themselves with the set, props and costumes ahead of the performance.

This event is held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall Southbank Centre
The Queen Elizabeth Hall is open from 90 minutes before events start until they finish. It’s closed at all other times.
