Sydney Smith, winner of the 2024 Hans Christian Andersen Award, comes all the way from Canada to London to talk to us about his life and work.
Find out how he creates his pictures, listen to him read his books and look at his amazing illustrations on a large screen as he shares his stories with you and answers your questions.

Tickets are only available from The Children’s Bookshow. This event is for primary schools, Years 2, 3 and 4.
Every child receives a free copy of My Baba’s Garden, illustrated by Sydney Smith to take home and keep.
