The Poetry Takeaway
Form a queue at the Poetry Takeaway Burger Van – our mobile poetry emporium – where our New Poets Collective serve you a bespoke wrapped poem to take away.
Launch into the opening weekend of our Your Belong Here summer season by ordering a poem from one of our ‘poet chefs’.
Whether you request an ode to the arts, a sonnet to the summer sun, or a bespoke verse as a gift for family or friends to spread good cheer, our poets are on hand to produce a unique commission just for you.
Drop by, form an orderly queue and enjoy your poem with relish!
Supporting emerging poets from diverse backgrounds, our New Poets Collective programme is centred around the National Poetry Library.
Over a year, 16 poets hone their skills and expand their knowledge and confidence.
With generous support from the TS Eliot Foundation
