Chaired by DJ and tastemaker Raji Rags, two captivating musical artists, Joel Culpepper and Lola Moxom, dig into their personal musical archives and the legacies they are building, all rooted in the profound sound of the late, great D’Angelo.
As their stories weave together with moments of music, audiences are invited into a soundscape spanning Culpepper and Moxom’s own catalogues and D’Angelo’s.
About the artists
Culpepper’s soulful, high-energy shows have enthralled audiences around the world and earned him a reputation as one of the most exciting new voices in contemporary soul music. Their debut album Sgt Culpepper was hailed as a ‘genre-bending masterpiece’ by critics.
London-born singer-songwriter Lola Moxom is redefining modern R&B with powerhouse vocals, intricate vocal runs and captivating live performances. Inspired by legends like Prince and Stevie Wonder, Moxom blends R&B, soul, jazz and pop with emotive, relatable songwriting.
Born and raised in London, Raj Chaudhuri (aka Raji Rags) is considered a key tastemaker in his home town both behind the scenes and in front of the decks. Chaudhuri currently runs OTIH Records and with his residency on NTS Radio, he has established a firm fanbase for his eclectic tastes with his solo shows and b2b mixes with the likes of Barker (Ostgut Ton), Sonia Calico, Elija, Forest Drive West, Neffa-T, Tash LC and Tim Reaper.

Wednesday – Sunday, 10am – 11pm
Monday, closed.
*If we’re hosting a performance, the building will stay open until the event ends.

Access
We’re working hard to remove barriers, so that our facilities and events can be accessible to as many people as possible.
All help points, toilets, performance and exhibition spaces at the Southbank Centre are accessible to all, as are the cafes, bars and restaurants. We also have excellent public transport links with step-free access.
There is step-free access to The Clore Ballroom, Level 2, Royal Festival Hall, via a ramp.

Food & drink
Next to The Clore Ballroom is our Ballroom Cafe where you can grab a coffee and a piece of freshly made cake. Also on Level 2 of our Royal Festival Hall you can grab a slice of life by the Thames with drinks and freshly made pizza at our Festival Bar & Kitchen which opens out onto our Riverside Terrace.
From coffee to cocktails, filling favourites to fine dining, plus some of London’s best street food – it’s all here at the Southbank Centre.
