‘It’s hard to figure out… how much a gesture like that from a colleague can do to change your life.’ Violinist Pekka Kuusisto reveals how much the support of Vladimir Ashkenazy shaped his early musical career, as he looks forward to working with him again as part of the Philharmonia Orchestra’s Voices of Revolution series.
