Sauti
Sauti – meaning ‘voice’ in Swahili – is our flagship choir, comprising young Black and Black mixed heritage female and non-binary singers aged 18 – 32.
Led by Tawiah, this auditioned choir was first brought together in 2024 for Chaka Khan’s Meltdown where they accompanied anaiis, before performing on stage with Khan and the Nu Civilisation Orchestra at the festival’s closing concert.
Boasting a strong sense of community and belonging, Sauti seeks to uplift and transform the experience of their audiences through excellence. Their unique voices compliment each other, but also blend beautifully as a stunning acapella ensemble.
