Join The Poetry Society for their midsummer open mic. The Repeat Beat Poet will perform a headline set, and then there will be an open mic where you will get the chance to read your work.
Doors to The Poetry Café open at 7pm, event starts at 7:30pm. There will be a limited number of tickets available on the door.
If you wish to sign up for a 3-minute open mic slot, please arrive at The Poetry Café when doors open, as slots will be first-come, first-served. The theme for the open mic will be summer, poems about heat, laziness, sky, swimming, flower crowns, ice-lollies etc are all welcome.
We’re able to offer 2 bursary tickets to this open mic for those facing financial difficulty. Please email [email protected] to request one of the places. No proof of financial difficulty is required.
