Afonydd on Tour: Poems for Welsh Rivers / Afonydd ar daith: Cerddi Afonydd Cymru

Join for an evening of poetry in celebration of the rivers of West Wales – their beauty, their history, and the stories they inspire. From the tranquillity of the Teifi to the rush of the Towy, the rivers’ diverse landscapes provide a rich backdrop for reflection and creativity.

In this event, several renowned poets will read new works, introducing pieces that capture the essence of nature, memory, and myth. This is a celebration of the power of words and nature, uniting us in the timeless rhythm of water and verse.

Held in conjunction with Arachne Press. This is a bilingual event.

Ymunwch â ni am noson arbennig o farddoniaeth wrth i ni ddathlu afonydd Gorllewin Cymru – eu harddwch, eu hanes, a’r straeon y maent yn eu hysbrydoli. O dawelwch y Teifi i ruo’r Tywi, mae tirweddau amrywiol yr afonydd yn darparu cefndir cyfoethog ar gyfer adlewyrchu a chreadigrwydd.

Yn y digwyddiad hwn, bydd nifer o feirdd adnabyddus yn darllen gweithiau newydd, gan gyflwyno darnau sy’n cyfleu hanfod natur, cof, a chwedlau. Dyma ddathliad o rym geiriau a natur, sy’n ein huno yn rhythm tragwyddol dŵr a chynghanedd.
