Alternative Selves: Personas in Poetry

Join Kate Potts in this masterclass workshop where you will explore poetry personas.

You will look at how poets have used alternative selves to explore and express their truths, as well as looking at poems that describe and consider multiple or changeable selves.

During the workshop there will be analysis and discussion of poems by Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa (in translation), Christopher Reid, Hieu Minh Nguyen and Abigail Parry.  Then through group experimentation you will produce new work that combines all you have explored.
