Art:Up Poetry – Radical Islands (Being Human Festival)

Hot Box Chelmsford is hosting the next instalment of Art:Up Poetry, this time featuring a performance by poet Kayleigh Osben. The Art:Up Poetry accelerator is a collaborative poetry programme in Essex, lasting all year. This event features the work of Manningtree based poet Brenda Wells.

The theme of this night is “Radical Islands” – drawing inspiration from islands in all their forms, from the 35 islands around the Essex coastline to Mesopotamia Island in Chelmsford.

Poets interested in sharing their own work on the night are encouraged to arrive early to sign up for the open mic. Writing from neurodivergent writers are particularly welcome.
