Dead [Women] Poets Society is a poetry organisation that works with living women and non-binary writers to commune with women poets of the past. They run workshops and events celebrating our literary (great-great-) grandmothers, and host an online archive of all the writers they’ve resurrected.
As part of their tenth year celebration, there will be an event commemorating the anniversary featuring Joelle Taylor and Mary Jean Chan.
The poets will be reading new bodies of work inspired by Adrienne Rich and Bing Xin 冰心, which will be followed by a conversation about how these poets have influenced their lives and works.
