Geographies of the Mind: Australian and UK Landscape Poetry, Judith Beveridge

The Verandah is hosting a workshop with one of Australia’s best loved poets and teachers Judith Beveridge, with close readings, discussions and writing reflecting on contemporary Australian and UK landscape poetry.
The workshop will run over two 1.5 hour sessions, with examples of poems which illustrate questions and deliberations around poets writing about landscape, its beauty and its treacherous aspects. Each workshop will also include a writing exercise.
