Launch of 'Ghosts of Nightshifts Past' by Nicole Durman

Dithering Chaps, an indie publisher of poetry chapbooks, is proud to launch a collection by nurse and poet, Nicole Durman. Called ‘Ghosts of Nightshifts Past’, the chapbook is being launched in Brendon Books in Taunton this July.
The poems cover her work in an NHS hospital, in the frenetic A&E department, and in hospice care. Her poetry evokes strong emotions and lived experiences, making the collection impactful for healthcare professionals, patients, and the public.
Entry is free, but tickets must be obtained in advance from Brendon Books’ website. The evening will include readings by Nicole. Free refreshments will be available to celebrate this launch of this unique collection, which may just change the way we think about nursing – and the nursed.
