This isn’t just a birthday bash; it’s the relaunch of their London events – a night filled with entertainment, connection, and fun which promises to nourish the mind and soul.
Performers:
Shocka, aka Kenneth Erhahon is a rapper and mental health advocate from Tottenham, London. He gained recognition for being one third of grime collective ‘Marvell’ alongside Double S and Vertex. After dealing with mental health issues himself, Shocka became a mental health advocate to help those suffering from their own problems with his music. He has since been a speaker on TED and a guest on numerous talk shows.
Arkadia
After spending 12 years writing in the shadows, Arkadia first hit the poetry scene in January 23’.Since then his ability and skill has levelled up each bar at a time.Winning 2 poetry slams, becoming a FLOpoet, performing a multitude of feature sets across London and having a piece published in the 2nd edition of “Kite String” magazine, it’s safe to say that “Planet Arkadia” has definitely landed.
Articulit
Hailing from North London, Articulit is a spoken word artist, #FLOpoet and pun enthusiast, whose work aims to break the barriers of taboo with an engaging mix of intricate wordplay and world commentary. Having worked with a number of mental health organisations, her pieces also focus heavily on the inner workings of the mind, with an emphasis on self-healing, personal growth and social commentary, and are an ‘open diary that will leave you laughing, crying and most importantly, considering.’
