Mining our Memories: Writing Workshop with Simon Maddrell

As part of the Milton Keynes Literary Festival, poet Simon Maddrell will be running a poetry writing workshop on memory through poem-making.

The workshop will encourage participants to identify a memory from different perspectives and explore word associations to create the raw materials to develop a poem and elevate it to the next level. Poems on the theme will be analysed to help support these prompts.

The workshop is suitable for writers of poetry, prose, short stories and flash fiction at all levels.
