Join the87press for an evening of poetry, performance, music and food. Mushaira is a live literature reading series featuring authors published by independent presses, and is rooted in South Asian tradition of poetry and community.
This edition celebrates the publication of two novels: ‘Tetra Nova’ by Sophia Terazawa and ‘Indian Winter’ by Kazim Ali. There will be virtual readings from the two authors, plus live slots by Samuel Fisher, Sunny Singh and Clare Pollard – not forgetting DJ Will René.
As this is a Christmas special, all attendees will receive a gift bundle of poetry titles.
