National Poetry Day workshop with Demi Anter

Attendees will be led through a series of creative writing exercises inspired by poets from around the world, past and present. Participants will look at a wide variety of poems to gather ideas for their own writing, and will have a chance to share their work and receive feedback.

Prior experience is not necessary; anyone with a curiosity about poetry is welcome. The workshop is suitable for all ages, although writers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

Demi Anter is an award-winning writer and performer, with work spanning poetry, creative nonfiction, script- and playwriting.
